Common questions
Step-by-step instructions
Choose a PDF. With Select you fill in the form fields, if it has any, and edit the text you’ve added. With Draw you paint on the page in the colour and thickness you pick. With Text you tap the page where you want to write and pick the font, size and colour. To move a text, drag it by the ✥ icon. Undo removes the last thing you added. When you’re done, save the PDF and check it before you download it.
When to use it
Use it to fill in an application or an official form, tick a box, add a note to a contract or mark where someone needs to sign. If you only need to sign, use Sign PDF.
Before you start
Choose one PDF of up to 150 MB and 500 pages. If it has a form, fill in its fields with Select; if not, you can draw and write on top. Fields with automatic calculations aren’t recalculated.
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. PDFs are processed on your device. We do not receive or store your files or their names. The server receives normal requests to load the website and may log connection data, such as your IP address. This version has no analytics, advertising or trackers.
Is it free? Is there a daily limit?
Yes. There is no daily limit, per-document quota or paid plan. Run successive batches as needed. Safety limits are 150 MB per file, 500 pages for rendering and 25 million pixels per page. Available memory may impose lower limits.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in modern browsers. A computer often has more memory for large documents. Keep the tab open during processing and check the PDF before sending it.
Can I fill in any PDF form?
Those with form fields (AcroForm), which are the most common: text boxes, tick boxes, options and drop-down lists. If the PDF is a scan or has no fields, use Text to write wherever you need. Dynamic XFA forms can’t be filled in.
Can I move or delete what I added later?
No. When you save, drawings and text become part of the page, and every viewer shows them the same way. Before saving you can move, undo or delete them. The values of the form fields can still be changed.
