    Why do it here

Your DNI is one of the most sensitive documents you can share. Here the photos are converted on your device and are not uploaded to any server. You can check it in the browser's Network tab.

    How to do it

    1. Take a photo of each side with good light, no reflections and the whole document in frame.
    2. Choose the two photos in the box above and put the front side first.
    3. Leave the A4 size: each photo is centred on a sheet.
    4. Press Convert to PDF and download the document.

If a photo comes out rotated

The tool respects the orientation your phone saves. If a side still comes out sideways, rotate it afterwards with Organize pages before sending it.

    Before sending it

Check that the number, the expiry date and the photo are easy to read. Send it only to whoever has to receive it, and delete it from the downloads folder if you used a computer that is not yours.

    Common questions

    Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?

No. PDFs are processed on your device. We do not receive or store your files or their names. The server receives normal requests to load the website. TotPDF keeps no access or error logs of its own. This version has no analytics, advertising or trackers. Tools like iLovePDF, Smallpdf or PDF24 send files to their servers and delete them after one or two hours. TotPDF processes them in your browser: they are never uploaded.

Is it free? Is there a daily limit?

Yes. There is no daily limit, per-document quota or paid plan. Run successive batches as needed. Safety limits are 150 MB per file, 500 pages for rendering and 25 million pixels per page. Available memory may impose lower limits.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, in modern browsers. A computer often has more memory for large documents. Keep the tab open during processing and check the PDF before sending it.
